Nov 24, 2021 · I am in need of some help making a decision. I just traded for a new CZ 457 Varmint 22 LR. I have narrowed my choices down to either the KRG Bravo or the MDT XRS. The only chassis I have ever owned was an Oryx. I know that I don't want to go that route again. As far as ergonomics go, they appear to be pretty close. Pretty much every stock/chassis on the market will be light enough for standing shooting. However, you should be focused on rifle balance and how the foreend can be adapted for your standing position and your body type. I pretty much need a palm rest (ala smallbore) to shoot standing with any chassis. 1.If you fancy yourself something of an audiophile and Spotify doesn’t cut it for you, you might be itching to start (or build out) your own record collection. The stock does well in that purpose, although I wish you could weight the butt end w/o steel spacers as I like the factory LOP. The mdt xrs has a much lower profile forend which like. The krg bravo and oryx are probably the most common options, as they offer everything people are looking for in one package. The oryx is the heavier option, it is one, solid piece of aluminium while the bravo is polymer.
