The previous owner told me that it needed an injector, said it quit running so he took it to the dealer which did series of test like compression and other things and they told him it needed an injector.

However once you begin moving over 3-MPH or so it will no longer shift. I changed the angle sensor, no luck. When she first starts out with a cold engine, shifing from 1st to 2nd, you have to hit the shift button 3 or 4 times before it will shift into 2nd. After running the bike for awhile and the engine is really warmed up, it will shift alot better.Instead of looking for the temp sensor and module just pick up a cooling fan and run it to a toggle switch. It has had a battery drain and yesterday I hooked up a test light (between - on battery and - battery wire) and started unplugging things and when I unplugged the meter the test light went out. Meter is trashed and busted when he bought it.My advice is to yank the shift motor, remove the reduction gears, and then reinstall the shift motor (to keep water out of the engine) and then weld on the emergency shifter (or better, swap in a footshift spindle and shifter).
