M3 here finishing up their 6th rotation. I've seen a lot of Heme/Onc so far in the various specialties I've rotated through and it's very fascinating. I was wondering if current oncologists can provide job offers, salary, lifestyle, day-to-day operations of current practices! Really interested in this field and what it has to offer.

New drugs not as exciting as in oncology. Onc: less hands on/more cerebral. Much more meaningful relationships with your patients, most of which will be seeing you for the biggest/most difficult event of their lives. Depending on what area of Onc may have a lot of sad cases.
