Gas pain under ribs left side

I have had a dull pain (not severe, maybe a 1 or 2 out of 10) for months. It comes and goes and sometimes is further down, parallel with my belly button. I had an abdominal CT scan and nothing was seen and my doctor figured it was referred pain for the endometriosis I was about to have surgery for. Had the surgery and the pain is still there.
