Silent Gear Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) is essentially the tool and armor system from Silent’s Gems, moved to its own mod and rewritten from scratch. The mod is not complete, but it is playable in survival. The mod focuses on tools, weapons, and armor (collectively called gear). Recipes are modular, down to each individual piece used in crafting.

After updating to 0.1.3 and testing, it appears that the silent gear quest rewards only work if cheats are enabled at world creation. The command is also recognised if typed into chat with cheats enabled, but appears unrecognised if cheats are off (which they are by default).There is very little benefit to using silent gear, especially on a pickaxe. You can get max speed on an ATM pickaxe w/ enchants and apotheosis, easily enough. Going through any extra hassle isn't worth it, imo. You can get ATM in less than half an hour from starting, if you really wanted to. Even on other gear, it's not really worth it. Yes it does. It’s just there are so many more enchants. For gear I used the mekatool which never disappointed me after upgrades installed. I also sujest you to try Silent gear, the mod has a lot of cool fratures for gear and armor (rings and bracelets can give you even more buffs) and looks fun to learn.
